1. |
What makes you qualified to work on my vehicle? Why should I bring my vehicle to you? |
|
We have over 75 years of combined experience in our shop. We have the latest diagnostic equipment to work on older cars and trucks as well as late model vehicles. |
2. |
Can I wait while my vehicle is being worked on? |
|
Yes, we enjoy getting to know our clients! We have a comfortable waiting room. We serve fresh coffee and water and have a television with direct TV and the daily newspaper or magazines for your enjoyment. |
3. |
What warranty do you offer on the work you do? |
|
We offer a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty on most repairs, unless we specify otherwise. This meets or exceeds most dealership and other repair shop warranties. We are proud of the work we do and stand behind the quality. This is a nationwide warranty, so if you are out of the area, simply pull into your local Precision Tune and have the peace of mind that you will be cared for. |
4. |
What if I need to leave my vehicle? How will I get home? |
|
We offer a free local shuttle service (when available). If you need to go a further distance, we can take you to the local Cal Train or Light Rail Station. We offer rental vehicles, sometimes at no charge. We do what we can to make leaving your vehicle as convenient and painless as possible. To arrange for alternate transportation, just give us a call ahead of time. |
5. |
My vehicle doesn't run, but I need to get it repaired? How can I get it to your shop? |
|
We work closely with a local towing service. We can help you arrange the tow for your vehicle and in some cases we will cover the cost of the tow! Just let us know how we can help. |
6. |
Why should I bring my vehicle to you? There are so many shops around, what makes your shop different? |
|
We are a women owned shop. We simply try harder. We insist on quality and believe customer service is the most important component of our business - it is what sets us apart from the rest. We want to create a community environment within the business. We want you to return and value your input. Please feel free to express your concerns and let us know how we can make your experience with us better. We care about you as our client and we care about the service and reliability of your vehicle. |
7. |
I am afraid of Automotive repair shops, there is so much on the news and TV about dishonest repair facilities, how can I have confidence in your facility? |
|
We always provide you with the opportunity to inspect your vehicle while it is in our shop. Once we inspect your vehicle, we will present you with an itemized list of the repairs that are needed in order of priority. We will provide you with the old parts if you want them. You are always welcome to come in and check on your vehicle will it is in our facility, just ask a manager to escort you into the shop. We are knowledgeable about how vehicles work, if you need a more in depth explanation, simply ask. We are happy to explain in simple or technical terms what was done to your vehicle. |
8. |
Do I need to make an appointment? |
|
Not necessarily. We are happy to take appointments because we understand the value of your time, but we also welcome Walk-In clients as well. Convenience is one of our trademarks and we do everything possible to make your auto repair experience a positive one. |
9. |
How long will it take to service or repair my vehicle? |
|
A typical oil change or smog test will take 30-45 minutes. Many other shops will advertise 15-20 minute service times, but how can they really inspect your vehicle thoroughly while giving the proper time and attention to important details in such a short amount of time? For other repairs, we will always provide you with a time quote for completion and communicate with you throughout the process so you can be assured your car is serviced or repaired properly and on time. |
